Hello Spring Gift Box

I stroll down the gift wrap aisle of my favorite store quite often. A nifty gift bag or box always catches my eye. I immediately start wondering if I can make something similar at home.

Well, if you have a die cutting machine you can make just about anything. That's what I love about my Silhouette Portrait. It's the perfect tool for crafting!

My latest project is this 3D Mason Canning Jar Box. {I'm a sucker for mason jars}. You can find this design in the Silhouette store

The "hello" title on the front of my jar is also in the Silhouette Store. It's from Pebbles in my Pocket. I will be using this one a lot!

The fun thing about this shape is that it's so perfect for springtime projects. The trick for me was finding the right paper to make this project shine. I used paper from Pink Paislee's "Hey Kid" collection. The colors are so bright and happy.

Here are some interesting facts about this project:

  • It was affordable to make. The supply cost was about $1. The gift bags & boxes in the store are way more expensive.
  • With your Silhouette you can re-size the shapes to fit any sized gift item.
  • You can personalize this gift for Mother's Day, birthdays, etc.
  • It's easy to put the pieces together.
  • It's a pretty homemade gift that people will love!

I'll be sharing more gifting and party ideas soon!

Happy gifting!!!

Easter Burlap Bag & Winner

Happy almost Easter everyone!

I'm popping in today to share a fun idea for family and friends. I actually made these for the students that I mentor at school. They are the perfect size for gifting too!

This one was easy to make:

1. Fold down the sides of a mini burlap bag. You can get these in the SRM Stickers shop.

2. Adhere an Easter bunny die-cut card, stickers from SRM, and a paper flower to the front of your bag. The die cut card is from Imaginisce's Welcome Spring collection.

3. Stuff the inside with paper confetti and candy-filled plastic eggs.

4. Enjoy!

Have you guys started crafting for Easter yet?
(There's only one more week to go!)

Oh and I almost forgot about this! Here is the winner of the SRM Sticker pack! Congrats and I will be contacting you today!
